When it comes to dental caries, known more commonly as tooth decay, the number of treated and untreated cases has been on the decline for the past 45 years. However, this issue has not been wiped out completely and more than 90 percent of adults ages 20 to 64 have dealt with a cavity in their lives. Sadly, roughly 26 percent never seek cavity filling treatment, leading to an average of more than three missing teeth. Here at the dental office of Michael S.
